Dekker Natuursteen offers a range of possibilities when it comes to the finishing for your building stone. The choice is yours. Take a look at the examples of our stone finishing work in the illustrations on the right.

Most natural stone is supplied with a ground, flamed or polished surface. Only slate is usually split. New techniques have also been used in recent years, such as flaming and brushing, blasting with a water jet, chiselling (by hand) and satinato, among various other processes. However, not every process can be used on every type of natural stone. It is also important to remember that yellow types of granite turn pink when flamed.
